Who appoints an arbitrator if the Landlord and Tenant cannot agree?

In cases where parties have agreed to arbitration but cannot agree on the specific arbitrators, the tribunal will intervene. Upon the request of either the Landlord or the Tenant, the tribunal will appoint the arbitrator(s). This also applies if an agreed-upon arbitrator resigns, is removed, or is disqualified. The number of arbitrators appointed by the tribunal must align with the original agreement. This ensures that the arbitration process can proceed legally and fairly even when the parties are in total disagreement.
