    Under Law No. (26) of 2007, the standard rental regulations do not apply to all types of accommodation. Specifically, hotel units are excluded from this legal framework. Additionally, Real Property provided free of Rent by natural or legal persons as accommodation for their employees is also exempt. This means corporate housing and hotel stays are governed by different sets of rules rather than the standard landlord-tenant relationship established for typical residential and commercial leases in the Emirate.
