What is the transition period for management entities to comply with new laws?

When Law No. (6) of 2019 was issued, all Developers and Management Entities were granted a six-month grace period to bring their operations into full compliance. The Director General of the DLD has the authority to extend this period for another six months if necessary. This transition was vital for moving from the old Owners Association model to the modern Management Entity framework. It ensured that all existing communities had enough time to update their contracts, bank accounts, and committee structures without disrupting daily property operations.
