What constitutes developer negligence in off-plan projects?

A developer is deemed to have committed negligence or omission if they delay taking possession of the land or obtaining necessary approvals without a valid reason. Other grounds for negligence include failing to register the project with RERA or neglecting to disclose the project's financial statements. Additionally, if a Sub-developer sells units off-plan without the written approval of the Master Developer, it is considered a violation. These criteria are used by RERA to monitor developer performance and protect purchaser interests.
