Under Article (2) of Bylaw No. (85) of 2006, Brokerage is defined as a service where a person finds another party to conclude a contract. This service involves representing a client in contract negotiations in exchange for a specified fee. Article (3) mandates that no person may conduct this activity unless they are licensed by a Competent Entity. Furthermore, they must be registered on the official Register maintained by the DLD to operate legally within the Emirate.
