What is the grace period for a tenant to remedy a contract breach?

When a tenant fails to comply with any legal or contractual obligations, the landlord must first serve a formal Notice. The tenant is then granted a thirty (30) day grace period from the date of service to rectify the breach. This notice must be delivered through a Notary Public or via registered mail. If the tenant fails to comply within this timeframe, the landlord is legally entitled to proceed with an eviction claim at the RDSC.
