Can the DLD register car parks if a developer refuses to do so?

No, the law is very specific regarding the handover of allocated facilities. A developer must register a unit along with all facilities allocated to it, such as car parks, in the name of the purchaser. If a developer refuses to register the unit despite the purchaser fulfilling all contractual obligations, the DLD can take direct action. The department has the authority to register the unit and its facilities on its own initiative to protect the owners rights and ensure the register's accuracy.
