What is the penalty for violating property registration laws?

Any agreement or disposition that is concluded in breach of Dubai's property registration laws is considered null and void. This also applies to any action taken with the intent to circumvent these laws. A judgment to invalidate such a transaction can be sought by any interested party, the DLD, or even the Public Prosecution. In some cases, the court may issue such a judgment on its own initiative. This strict enforcement ensures that the integrity and transparency of the Real Property Register are always maintained.
