What happens if parties cannot agree on an arbitrator?

In situations where a lease contract mandates arbitration but the landlord and tenant cannot agree on the specific arbitrators, the RDSC will intervene. Upon the request of either party, the RDSC will appoint the arbitrator(s). This also applies if an agreed-upon arbitrator resigns or is disqualified. The Centre ensures the number of appointed arbitrators matches the original agreement. This judicial support prevents the arbitration process from being stalled by a lack of cooperation between the disputing parties.
