What are the fees for registering inherited property in Dubai?

To register the ownership of Real Property in the name of heirs, the Land Department collects a fee of AED 1,000 per inherited property. If an heir decides to transfer their share of the property to other heirs, a process known as Takharuj, the fee is one percent (1%) of the value of the property share being transferred. These fees ensure that the transition of property rights between generations is officially recognized and recorded in the Real Property Register.
