Article (40) provides a shorter liability period of one (1) year for repairing or replacing defective installations. This covers mechanical and electrical works, as well as sanitary and sewerage installations. The period starts from the date the unit is handed over to the Owner. However, if the owner refrains from taking possession, the period begins from the date of the completion certificate. This ensures all functional systems are guaranteed during the initial occupancy.
