How long does a Tenant have to return to a renovated property?

If a Tenant wishes to exercise their right of first refusal to return to a renovated or reconstructed property, they must act quickly. The law requires the Tenant to notify the Landlord of their intent within a period not exceeding thirty (30) days from the date the Landlord notifies them of the opportunity. If the Tenant misses this deadline, they may lose their legal priority to move back in. This deadline allows Landlords to find new Tenants if the original one does not wish to return.
