    Buying property solely because of an attractive post handover payment plan can be risky if the underlying asset is overpriced. Developers sometimes inflate the property price to offset the cost of the payment plan. Investors should always evaluate the price per square foot against the current market value. A good payment plan does not justify overpaying for an asset that may not appreciate enough to cover the initial premium.
