I ask them: "Would you give me a mate's room in your new house for free?". The answer is always "No". My knowledge is not free, and I am rewarded for it through my commissions.
Why I Say "No" to Bad Deals
Most brokers are afraid to say "No". They will tell you every project is "very good" and "will go up" because they are desperate for the sale. I am the Second Doctor of Real Estate. I have called my clients and told them not to buy a unit even after the token was issued, because the series or layout was not up to the mark.
I once spent nearly two hours with a client from the UK, taking them to multiple developer offices. When they went behind my back to close with another agent to save a few dirhams, I blocked them immediately. I do not deal with people who have that mindset.
