    How is the profession of real property brokerage defined?

    Under Bylaw No. (85) of 2006, Brokerage is defined as a service where a person, known as a Broker, undertakes to find another party to conclude a contract for a client. The broker represents the client in contract negotiations in exchange for a fee. This professional activity is strictly regulated to ensure transparency in Dubai's real estate market. No person is permitted to conduct this activity unless they are licensed by a Competent Entity and recorded in the official register.
