Who is responsible for the repair of defective installations in JOP?

The Developer is legally liable for repairing or replacing defective installations for one (1) year following the handover of a unit to an owner. This liability specifically covers mechanical, electrical, sanitary, and sewerage works. If an owner refuses to take possession of their unit for any reason, this one-year period begins automatically from the date the developer obtains the completion certificate for the project. This warranty ensures that essential building systems are functional and that the developer remains accountable for the quality of their installations.
