    Who is responsible for paying the mortgage registration fees?

    Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the Mortgagor (the property owner/borrower) is legally responsible for paying the Mortgage contract registration fees. These fees must be settled with the DLD for the mortgage to come into effect.
