Who appoints an arbitrator if the parties cannot agree?

    Ali Faizan Syed1 min read0 viewsUpdated 1/2/2026
If a dispute arises and the parties have agreed to arbitration but cannot agree on the specific arbitrators, the RDSC will intervene. Upon the request of either the landlord or the tenant, the RDSC will appoint the arbitrator(s). This also applies if an agreed arbitrator resigns, is removed, or is disqualified. The number of arbitrators appointed by the RDSC must be equal to, or complete, the number originally agreed upon by the parties, ensuring the arbitration process can proceed fairly and legally.
