When is a broker entitled to receive their fees?

A broker is generally entitled to their fees only if the brokerage successfully leads to the conclusion of a contract. A contract is deemed concluded when all parties agree on the conditions specified in the Brokerage Agreement. Usually, the fee becomes payable upon the signing and registration of the sale contract with the DLD. If the sale is conditional, the broker must wait until the condition is fulfilled before they can legally claim their compensation from the client.
