    What is the procedure for registering units after construction is finished?

    Article (8) requires a developer to register a completed project in the permanent Real Property Register once the completion certificate is issued. This includes registering units in the names of purchasers who have met their contractual obligations. If a developer refuses, the DLD has the authority to register the unit in the purchaser�s name on its own initiative or upon the purchaser�s request. This ensures that legal title is transferred promptly once the building is ready for occupancy.
