Under the Fees and Fines Schedule of Resolution No. (25) of 2009, various violations carry heavy fines. For example, conducting development without a license results in a fine of AED 500,000. Article (2) of the resolution specifies that if a violation is repeated within one year, the fine is doubled. However, the absolute maximum for these administrative penalties is capped at one million Dirhams (AED 1,000,000.00). These fines ensure strict compliance with RERAs regulatory framework.
