What is the notice requirement for a landlord wishing to sell a leased property?

If a property owner wishes to sell the leased property, they can request the tenant to vacate upon the expiry of the Lease Contract. For the eviction to be valid, the landlord must provide the tenant with at least twelve (12) months' notice before the date of eviction. This notice must be served officially through a Notary Public or via registered mail. This requirement ensures that real estate investment transactions do not cause immediate homelessness for tenants, providing them a full year to find new accommodation.
