What is the notice period required to exercise a pre-emption right?

To forfeit a pre-emption right, a selling co-owner must serve a written notice through a notary public stating the buyer's details and the sale terms. The other co-owners then have thirty (30) days to agree to these terms. If a co-owner agrees to the purchase, they must finalize the sale with the DLD within ten (10) working days from the end of that notice period. Failing to meet these deadlines results in the forfeiture of the right to purchase.
