What is the duration of a developer's liability for structural defects?

A Developer remains liable for a period of ten (10) years from the date of obtaining the completion certificate for the project. During this time, they must remedy or rectify any defects found in the structural parts of the Jointly Owned Real Property. This mandatory protection ensures that owners are not financially responsible for fundamental engineering failures. Any agreement made after the law came into force that contradicts this ten-year liability is considered null and void.
