Once a developer obtains a completion certificate from the Competent Authority, they must follow strict filing timelines. They are required to file the Master Community Declaration, Statute, and Site Plans with the DLD within sixty (60) days of the certificates issuance. The DLD may grant a one-time extension of up to thirty (30) days, provided the developer offers valid reasons. If a developer fails to meet these deadlines, the DLD can appoint another entity to file the documents at the developer's expense.
