What is the composition of the Appellate Division?

    Ali Faizan Syed1 min read0 viewsUpdated 1/2/2026
The Appellate Division consists of several tribunals, each formed of two (2) judges and one person recognised for their experience and expertise in real property. Every appellate tribunal must be chaired by a judge. These tribunals are responsible for determining appeals filed against the decisions and judgments issued by the First Instance Division. By including both judicial and industry experts, the Appellate Division ensures a balanced review of lower-court rulings, focusing on both the legal application and the practical realities of the property market.
