    A Real Property Broker is a person or entity that finds another party to conclude a real estate contract in exchange for a fee. They act as representatives for their clients during negotiations for the sale, purchase, or leasing of property. Brokers must be licensed by a Competent Entity and registered in the DLD's Broker Register to operate legally. They are bound by a professional Code of Ethics and act as trustees for any funds delivered to them during a transaction. Failure to follow these rules can result in blacklisting.
