    What are Designated Common Parts?

Designated Common Parts refer to specific connections, fittings, or facilities within a property that are reserved for exclusive use by certain owners. Unlike regular Common Parts, these are not shared by everyone in the building. Their allocation is clearly marked on the Site Plan to prevent disputes over access. For example, a specific elevator or terrace might be designated only for penthouse owners. The ratio of these areas to the total area of units must be recorded in the Jointly Owned Real Property Register.
