How must a Landlord serve an eviction notice for a contract breach?

If a Tenant fails to comply with their legal or contractual obligations, the Landlord must serve a formal Notice requesting compliance. The Tenant is then granted a thirty (30) day grace period to remedy the breach. To be legally effective, this notice must be served either through a Notary Public or by registered mail. This ensures there is an official, documented record of the warning, protecting both parties' rights in the event the dispute proceeds to the Rental Disputes Settlement Centre.
