How long is the grace period for a purchaser to fix a breach?

After being notified of a breach by the developer, the DLD is legally required to grant the purchaser a grace period of thirty (30) days. This notice must be in writing and dated, and it can be delivered in person, via registered mail, or through email. During this window, the DLD may also attempt to mediate an amicable settlement between the parties. If a settlement is reached, it must be documented as an addendum to the original sale agreement.
