Dubai Islands is an evolved version of the Palm, spanning 17 square kilometres across five themed islands. It features a bay-like structure for better water circulation (preventing stagnant water) and three entries/exits to solve the traffic choke points seen on the Palm. Crucially, the density is significantly lower, with a Floor-to-Area Ratio (FAR) of only 0.6%, compared to 1.2% for Palm Jumeirah and 0.8% for Palm Jebel Ali.
