How are multi-storey buildings represented in the JOP Register?

A multi-apartment or multi-storey building is treated as a single Real Property Unit for registration purposes. It is assigned one main Real Property folio in the Register. However, this main folio is accompanied by several supplementary folios. These supplementary records contain the names of the individual owners of the apartments or floors, as well as details regarding the building's common areas. This hierarchical system allows the DLD to manage both the building as a whole and the individual ownership interests within it simultaneously.
