Does the real estate regulatory agency have the power to create branches?

Law No. (4) of 2019 establishes the administrative flexibility of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency. While the primary head office of RERA is required to be located within the Emirate, the agency is not limited to a single location. RERA is explicitly authorised to establish branches within the Emirate. These branches are created pursuant to a resolution of the Director General. This allows the agency to decentralise its services, providing more accessible licensing and monitoring support for the sector.
