    Can owners purchase additional car parking spaces?

    An owner is permitted to purchase additional car parks, provided they are in excess of the spaces already designated for all units in the property. These additional spaces must be registered in the Real Property Register according to the instructions issued by the Director General. However, the car parks originally allocated to a unit are considered an integral part of that unit. They cannot be separated or sold independently from the unit they were first assigned to.
