Subject to the procedures set by the Chairman, the department may consider applications from persons in possession of such land. The purpose of this review is to ensure that these holdings comply with the requirements of registration. This process allows for the formalisation of long-standing claims and ensures that all Real Property Units within the Emirate are eventually accounted for in the official register.
