Can a landlord evict a tenant for adding new structures to a building?

A landlord may seek eviction upon the expiry of the lease if they wish to add new structures that would prevent the tenant from using the property. To do this legally, the landlord must obtain the required permits from the competent entities and provide the tenant with a twelve (12) month notice. This allows the owner to maximize the development value of their land while acknowledging the tenant's right to significant warning before their lease is terminated for expansion purposes.
