Are there restrictions on altering Common Facilities in a Master Project?

Law No. (6) of 2019 prohibits any person from disposing of, utilizing, or altering Common Facilities without prior approval from the DLD and the Competent Authority. It is specifically forbidden to redesign or shut down these facilitiessuch as parks or poolsin a way that restricts their use by owners. These amenities are designated for the common use of the entire Master Project, and the law ensures that developers or other entities cannot revoke access to these facilities once they have been established on the Master Plan.
