Are arbitration agreements allowed for JOP disputes?

Landlords and tenants can agree in their lease contract or a subsequent agreement to refer disputes to arbitration. While the arbitration process is ongoing, neither party is allowed to take any action that would negatively affect the property or the other party's rights. Furthermore, the RDSC retains the power to issue interim awards at the request of either party. These interim measures are designed to preserve the legal positions and rights of both the landlord and tenant until a final arbitration award is rendered.
