    11. What are "Usage Charges" and how do they differ from Service Charges?

Usage Charges are annual fees collected from owners or sub-developers specifically for the management and repair of Common Facilities within a Master Project. While Service Charges typically cover the maintenance of a specific building's common parts (like elevators and lobbies), Usage Charges cover broader community assets like streets, parks, and fountains. These charges must be approved by RERA and are calculated based on a method approved by the Director General in accordance with the Master Community Declaration.
