    Is it better to flip an off plan property or hold it for rental income

    The decision to flip or hold depends on your financial goals and market cycle. Flipping can generate quick profits if you enter at a low launch price and exit before handover during a rising market. However holding for rental income is currently very attractive given the high rental yields of around 9 percent for townhouses. With the shift towards an end user market and long term residency holding assets for passive income and long term capital growth is often the safer and more lucrative strategy.
